Scholarship News

There’s not much out there right now, but things will pick up in September. Remember to keep watching the bulletin board in the main building. Also, as you look at college materials, check scholarships awarded by the colleges you are interested in. There are too many for me to list, but I will try to include some of them as I receive the material. Keep in mind that you must apply to a college before it will consider you for an academic or leadership scholarship.

United States Senate Youth Program—Requirements: Examination on American Government and 300-word essay. Deadline: September 29. See Mrs. Miller by August 30 if interested.

Horatio Alger Scholarship Program—Go to www.horatioalger.org/scholarships. Deadline: October 30.
